Hannah Sunset

Hannah's Hundreds Bike-a-thon

Hannah and her bike

Even though a tragic
horseback riding
accident took
our Hannah's life,
nothing can stop a
God-given Vision from
coming to fruition.

Hannah's appreciation for the life she had, and her compassion for those who were without even the most basic things--like clean water, caused her to set a goal of inspiring the sponsorship of 100 children thru World Vision.

Since her death, many people have honored her life thru sponsorship---but others gave monetarily in their sympathy cards.  We donated those financial gifts to World Vision to dig a well for clean water in Kenya, Africa.  Now, we are working towards a 2nd well.

Please consider joining us.

We trust the lives of many
will be touched….. including yours.

About the Ride

This is a great ride for the avid cyclist, casual biker and families: a very unique opportunity to involve all skill levels and ages for a fun ride. The ride itself is on an old railroad bed that is flat, paved and simply beautiful. While just 13 miles is our route from Moose Lake to Willow River, if you are an avid cyclist, you may enjoy the opportunity to continue to ride on for many more miles and enjoy the beautiful scenery the Willard Munger Trail provides.

It will be kicked off with a balloon memorial for Hannah that you will not want to miss. The ride begins in Moose Lake and rides for 13 miles to Willow River where lunch will be served (included in registration). Cyclists can then choose to return to Moose Lake, or continue on the scenic Willard Munger Trail for many more miles, or wrap up there day at Willow River and head out.

Registration fee includes an "Event packet": lunch, nametag, Hannah's Hundreds bracelet, single balloon for release, and participation patch to wear. Each registrant pledges to raise a minimum of $50 to fund the well. We have fabulous fundraising tips and tools available to make your efforts simple, fun and effective!

This is a wonderful opportunity if you have just a few hours on Saturday or want to make this event a highlight of your weekend in this beautiful part of MN. Consider making this a family event, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery the area offers.

For the convenience of those staying overnight, there will be a short, non-denominational Christian Worship Service at 9:00am Sunday at the Moose Lake City Park pavilion, with Sylvia (Hannah's Mom) sharing "Hannah's Secret".

Come Join us on our "Riding for WATER so that hope WELLS up" cycling event on the scenic Willard Munger Trail and help bring clean water to those in desperate need. You will be glad you did!

Special early-bird priced registration!
